Remarks on a New Book about the Kielce Pogrom

bozena.szaynok@uwr.edu.pl BioBożena Szaynok is a historian, PhD, DSc in the Department of Contemporary History of the Historical Institute at the University of Wrocław. She primary deals with the contemporary history of Poland, Polish-Israeli Relations and history of Jews in Poland after 1945. She published, among others, books such as: Pogrom Żydów w Kielcach 4 lipca 1946 r. (1992); Ludność żydowska na Dolnym Śląsku 1945–1950 (2000); Z historią i Moskwą w tle. Polska a Izrael 1944–1968 (2007); Duszpasterz. Rozmowy z ojcem Ludwikiem Wiśniewskim (2012). Her extensive interview with Władysław Bartoszewski was published in his book Polacy – Żydzi – okupacja. Fakty, postawy, refleksje (2016).
