Marcin Zaremba, historian and sociologist, associate professor at the Institute of History of Warsaw University. Scholar of the newest history of Poland, particularly social history of the People’s Republic of Poland. Recently published the monograph Wielka Trwoga. Polska 1944–1947. Ludowa reakcja na kryzys (2012), for which he received the 2013 Kazimierz Moczarski Historical Award and the 2012 Clio Award. Publishes in the "Polityka" weekly; secretary of its historical award.
