pfilipkowski@ifispan.edu.pl Author Biographysociologist, assistant professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, participant in many documentation and research projects on the experiences and memory of the Second World War, in particular the Holocaust, concentration camps and forced labour, as well as socialist modernization and capitalist transformation in Poland and Eastern Europe. Author of the monograph Historia mówiona i wojna. Doświadczenie obozu koncentracyjnego w perspektywie narracji biograficznych /Oral history and war. The experience of the concentration camp in the perspective of biographical narratives (2010) and numerous methodological and theoretical texts devoted to oral history and sociological biographical research.
