roma.sendyka@uj.edu.pl Biohabilitated doctor, professor at the Jagiellonian University, works at the Department of Anthropology of Literature and Cultural Research at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University, co-founder of the Center for Research on Remembrance Cultures. She deals with theories of literary and cultural research, especially research on visual culture and memory cultures. Author of the books Nowoczesny esej. Studium historycznej świadomości gatunku (2006), Od kultury ja do kultury siebie (2015), Poza obozem. Nie-miejsca pamięci – próba rozpoznania (2021), co-editor of the series "Nowa Humanistyka / New Humanistocs".
