kasia.stec@uj.edu.pl Author BiographyPh.D. in sociology, assistant professor at the Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, researcher in the project "Auschwitz w pamięci społecznej Polaków 75 lat później / Auschwitz in the social memory of Poles 75 years later" led by prof. Marek Kucia. She published on Holocaust remembrance and education about the Holocaust, focusing on the social role and symbolism of museums - memorials of former Nazi concentration and extermination camps.
