Samuel Kassow
samuel.kassow@trincoll.edu Author BiographyProfessor, historian associated with Trinity College (Hartford, Connecticut), specializing in research on the history of Jews in the 20th century. His numerous publications include Students Professors and the State in Tsarist Russia: 1884–1917 (1989) and The Distinctive Life of East European Jewry (2003). He is also the author of works devoted to the Ringelblum Archive, including Who Will Write Our History? Rediscovering a Hidden Archive from the Warsaw Ghetto (2007; Polish edition Kto napisze naszą historię? The Hidden Archive of Emanuel Ringelblum, 2017). His latest book, Warsaw Testament (2024), contains texts by Rachel Auerbach.
