In the coming days, this year's issue of our journal will be published in the Open Acces and ONLINE FIRST format. The leitmotif of the presented volume is Holocaust kitsch and the abuses in portraying Shoah. Researchers representing various fields and showing the problem from many perspectives took the floor in the debate. The volume includes, inter alia, texts analyzing the image of the Holocaust in computer games and social media, as well as in belles-lettres.

A separate block of materials concerns the work of Artur Żmijewski and his film "Berek", which became the subject of heated discussions and became entangled in political games. For the first time, we present to a broader academic audience a unique collection of photos taken during the production of "Berk".

In addition to the main topic, the issue includes a new voice in the discussion on the attitudes of the 'Blue Police" towards Jews, the results of research on the post-war plunder of the Treblinka extermination camp, and an article about the fate of Roma and Sinti resettled to the Łódź ghetto.
